Maryam Hosseinkhah Summoned to the Revolutionary Courts

[Change for Equality->http://www.wechange.info/english/]: Maryam Hosseinkhah, woman’s rights activist and a founding member of the One Million Signatures Campaign has been summoned to the Revolutionary Courts. Hosseinkhah was one of 33 women arrested during a peaceful protest in front of the Revolutionary Courts on March 4, 2007. It appears that this summons is related to the case pending against her in relation to the March 4 protest.

Her trial in relation to this case was initially scheduled for November 2007. During that period Maryam was imprisoned on security charges related to her activities on Change for Equality, the site of the Campaign, and the site of Zanestan (the webzine of the Women’s Cultural Center), as such she could not appear in court.
